I love when customers want a specific scene from their travels painted. Collecting artwork from everywhere you travel is a wonderful way to remember your trip and display a visual from it in your home for years to come. I am always such a fan of warm sunsets in paintings! They are just so pretty and make me want to visit and sit outside with a warm cup and a blanket.
This sweet lil painting shows the beautiful Lake Obersee in Berchtesgaden in Bavaria. We actually visited this area for Thanksgiving and I was hoping to make it to this spot to see what I painted in person, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and I didn't get to see it.
